About the Competitions

Each season counties across the country hold national qualifiers in various different disciplines, in order to allow players to compete for a place at the national championships. DSMBA holds competitions that combine national qualifiers and members competitions, and are open to all registered players within Dorset. This is a great opportunity for all abilities of player to try different disciplines of bowls at a competitive level, and get to know people from across the county. The competitions include:

  • Mixed Fours

  • Singles

  • Pairs

  • Triples

  • Under 18’s Singles

  • Over 55’s Pairs

Each competition is played on a weekend at The Dorset Bowls Resort (Bere Regis).
